AN ACT INSTITUTING THE COMPREHENSIVE DANGEROUS DRUGS ACT OF 2002, REPEALING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6425, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE DANGEROUS DRUGS ACT OF 1972, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress. Section 1. Short Title.

  2. (a) “Act” refers to Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the “ omprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”. (b) “Administer” means any act of introducing any dangerous drug into the body of any person or animal, with or without his/her knowledge by injection, inhalation, ingestion or other means, or

  3. Maximum Penalty Imposed on : Committed within 100m from a school. Use of minors or mentally incapacitated persons as runners, couriers & messengers, or in any other capacity. If the victim is a minor or mentally incapacitated. Dangerous drug is the proximate cause of death of victim.

(i) S-License refers to the authority to perform specific acts relative to the handling, custody and disposition of dangerous drug; (ii) P-License refers to the authority to perform specific acts relative to the handling, custody, and disposition of controlled precursors and essential chemicals

  5. May 11, 2024 · Possession of dangerous drugs. Any person, who, unless authorized by law, shall possess any dangerous drug in the following quantities, regardless of the degree of purity thereof, shall be penalized: 1) 10 grams or more of opium; 2) 10 grams or more of morphine; 3) 10 grams or more of heroin; 4) 10 grams or more of cocaine or cocaine hydrochloride;

  6. Under the law, anyone found guilty of importation or sale of dangerous drugs, with the manufacture of illegal drugs, or with the operation of a drug den can be punished with life imprisonment and a fine ranging from ₱500,000 (then ~$10,000) to ₱10,000,000 (then ~$200,000).
