Plot. Fund manager Seok-woo is a cynical workaholic and a divorced father. His estranged daughter Su-an wants to spend her birthday with her mother Nayoung in Busan. It revolves around a man named Seok-woo and his daughter Su-an , and other survivors as they try to survive a train they are riding which got infested by zombies.
Seok-Woo has no other choice, but to take her to Busan. Early the next morning, they board the KTX train for Busan at Seoul Station. Before the KTX train leaves Seoul Station, a zombie like girl jumps onto the train. The girl is infected with a horrific virus that is spreading like wildfire.
