Sabang Beach is synonymous to the town of Baler. Most of the resorts and business establishments are concentrated around the beach area. The sand is fine and brown (dark brown when wet) but it actually doesn’t matter because the main draw is the swell.

May 3, 2022 · The Baler Hanging Bridge is a picturesque landmark that connects the barangays (neighbourhoods) of Tibang and Sabang. It’s been serving the locals for decades and has played a crucial role in their daily errands.
Long stretch of fine brown sand with curling waves friendly enough for beginners – this is where I learn to surf and eventually became addicted. Baler might be approx 8 hours drive from Manila with a bit of a rough road but the majestic view always leaves me in awe. Have a lot of hostels and food stalls with very hospitable locals. Enjoy Baler!!!
