The José Rizal Memorial Protected Landscape, also known as the Rizal Park and Shrine, is a protected landscape and memorial to the Philippines' national hero located in the city of Dapitan on the island of Mindanao.
Rizal Shrine. This is the major historical landmark of Dapitan City. It refers to the more or less sixteen (16) hectares estate of Dr. Jose P. Rizal which he purchased in Barangay Talisay and is approximately two (2) kilometers NW from the City Hall.

The Rizal Shrine, a National Shrine is lcoated in Barangay Talisay, it is exactly on the same spot where Rizal built his home in exile which lasted four years, from July 17, 1892 to July 31, 1896. It features replicas of the houses which were rebuilt on their original sites.
