Jun 9, 2012 · I think 12,3,6,9 is natural for a watch dial. I can live with just indices. (Tho I prefer the 12 index to be unique.) I can even tell what time it is on a Movado (or my Android phone). But _,1,2,_4,5_7,8,_10,11_ dials bother me. Just ain't right (to my eyes). I just took a picture of my favorite 12,3,6,9 dial (for a new thread.)
Test the power reserve by giving the crown sixty winds and leave the watch dial up - don't wear it - and see how long it runs. Should be 38 hours minimum. If it passed that, you could get it regulated as that's not a major job.

Jun 9, 2012 · Hi Fellow Collectors, May I ask what is the major difference (in horological terms, not esthetic) between chronographs with 3-6-9 Sub-dial and 6-9-12 subdial? I see 3-6-9 subdials tend to be priced higher than the other version.
