Zuzela is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nur, within Ostrów Mazowiecka County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) west of Nur, 26 km (16 mi) south-east of Ostrów Mazowiecka, and 99 km (62 mi) north-east of Warsaw.

Stefan Wyszyński was born on 3 August 1901 in Zuzela upon the Bug River, under the Russian-controlled section of partitioned Poland. He was brought up in a traditional and patriotic spirit: according to family accounts, he wanted to become a priest early on.

May 24, 2024 · Stefan Wyszyński was the Polish archbishop of Gniezno and Warsaw and primate of Poland. After study at Warsaw, Łomża, and Włocławek, Wyszyński was ordained on his 23rd birthday, Aug. 3, 1924, and was assigned to the basilica at Włocławek.
