The Hinatuan Enchanted River, also called the Hinatuan Sacred River, is a deep spring river on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It flows into the Philippine Sea and the Pacific Ocean at Barangay Talisay, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. It is found between the boundaries of Barangays of Talisay and Cambatong.

Its already my Nth time to visit Enchanted River in Hinatuan. Since 2014, it is still enchanting. Fish feeding every 12noon and 3pm daily brings out the best view where fishes from the deepest part of the water comes up and show its beautiful colors.
Tucked in between the boundaries of two barangays, Cambatong and Talisay, at 14 kilometers away from the town of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, the Hinatuan Enchanted River is a saltwater river which directly links with the Pacific Ocean.
The Hinatuan Enchanted River is as magical as its name considering that it is the only river in the country with clear blue water. With its short length of less than 300 meters, its classification as a river is sometimes disputed. While it is short, the deepest part of the river reaches 80 feet.
This beautiful river is no easy to found but worth the long drive. From Manila, I took flight to Davao and drove for almost 5-7 hours and get mesmerize by its enchanting beauty. The deep blue, cold and fresh water is so inviting. The water is so clear and very clean and you just want to soak all day.
