If you are looking for public beach on Mactan island in Lapu, there are very few of them. Vano beach is about 30 minutes from our Days Hotel at the airport by taxi and cost 300 peso. It is a bit out of the way. The beach is okay, not bad at all and is shared with some other resorts nearby.

Jul 4, 2016 · If you are looking for public beach on Mactan island in Lapu, there are very few of them. Vano beach is about 30 minutes from our Days Hotel at the airport by taxi and cost 300 peso. It is a bit out of the way. The beach is okay, not bad at all and is shared with some other resorts nearby.
It is really nice white sandy beach without entrance fee. But has to rent for a canopy or a cottage in case you stay longer. We stayed only for a short while after strolling the beach and getting fresh air.

Apr 4, 2007 · Vaño Beach is one of the most popular many low-range beach resorts in Mactan Island. The place is not bad at all and you can enjoy the water, the sun, and the sand the same way those high-rollers are having the time of their lives next door ( Plantation Bay, for example).
