Doctor Stranger (Korean: 닥터 이방인; RR: Dakteo Yibangin) is a 2014 South Korean television series starring Lee Jong-suk, Jin Se-yeon, Park Hae-jin and Kang So-Ra. It aired on SBS from May 5 to July 8, 2014 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:55 KST (UTC+9) for 20 episodes.
Synopsis. This drama depicts a stranger man's long and arduous journey to find his woman. The ideological conflict between the North and South Korea and revenge against those in power are just side stories. What penetrates here is a man's sublime and fierce love for a woman.

Doctor Stranger: With Lee Jong-suk, Jin Se-yeon, Park Hae-joon, Chun Ho-jin. Park Hoon and his father were kidnapped by North Korea and he fell in love with Jae Hee, but lost contact.
Synopsis: 1994, Seoul. The political relations between South Korea and North Korea are so tensed that many fear an inevitable war. Park Hoon and his father Park Cheol, a doctor, are tricked and sent to North Korea to perform an operation on its leader, in order to stop war from happening. Park Hoon is held captive in North Korea as a prisoner.
Doctor Stranger (Tagalog) Synopsis: Pagkatapos ng kalunos-lunos na pagkamatay ng kanyang ama, tumakas si Park Hoon mula North Korea, patungo sa South. Sinanay siya ng kanyang ama bilang isang thoracic surgeon kaya naman nakapagtrabaho siya sa prestihiyosong ospital ng Myungwoo University Hospital.
