The Zone: Survival Mission (Korean: 더 존: 버텨야 산다) is a South Korean television program starring Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Kwang-soo, and Kwon Yuri. Dubbed as the "agents of mankind", the members are put into eight disaster simulations in which they must survive for four hours.
The show establishes its three hosts as representatives of the human race before throwing them into eight unexpected situations where they will be challenged to survive for four hours and not give up, in order to complete each mission.
This brand new mystery variety show that has only one rule: "Survive, no matter what". For each mission, cast members will enter an unknown, virtual reality space through a secret door. No matter what reality they face through the door, they must endure and survive.
In a disaster-simulated virtual space called The Zone, mankind is being tested. Jaeseok, Kwangsoo, and Yuri, who all lack in camaraderie and credibility, are sent into the space with the great mission and responsibility of representing all of mankind.
