Breese Stevens Municipal Athletic Field is a multi-purpose stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Located eight blocks northeast of the Wisconsin State Capitol on the Madison Isthmus , it is the oldest extant masonry grandstand in Wisconsin.
Originally built as a baseball stadium, Breese Stevens Field has since played host to celebrities, athletes, and events from all walks of life. Now utilized as a multi-purpose stadium, Breese Stevens Field hosts a variety of events from concerts, professional soccer, ultimate frisbee and festivals.

Jul 14, 2022 · First things first, Breese, located at 917 E. Mifflin Street, is the OG place to be in Madison. Constructed in 1926, the venue is the oldest still-intact masonry grandstand in Wisconsin. It’s named in honor of Breese J. Stevens, who was a Madison mayor and UW-Madison regent.
