St. Michael’s High School, located at Digha Ghat in Patna, is a Catholic Missionary educational instition, founded in 1858, by the first Bishop of Patna, Dr. Anastasius Hartmann (of the Franciscan (Capuchin) Missionary Society).
Serving the St. Michael School community in the principal position and as teachers, the Sisters are continuing the Dominican tradition in Catholic education which goes back to the earliest days of the Catholic Church’s presence in Ohio.
