Druid Hill Park is one of the first large public parks in America and Baltimore’s first large municipal park. It is the third oldest established park in the United States. Druid Hill Park consists of 745 acres.
Druid Hill Park is a 745-acre (3.01 km 2) urban park in northwest Baltimore, Maryland. Its boundaries are marked by Druid Park Drive (north), Swann Drive and Reisterstown Road (west and south), and the Jones Falls Expressway / Interstate 83 (east).

The park is the third oldest established park in the US and Baltimore's fist large municipal park. The park has some running/walking trails, athletic fields, picnic tables/pavilions, and a disc golf course. The park also contains the Baltimore Zoo and the Howard P. Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Gardens.
Located in the northern part of Baltimore, Druid Hill Park has become home to several popular attractions including the The Maryland Zoo, the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory & Botanic Gardens, a public pool, disc golf courses, tennis courts and the man-made Druid Hill Reservoir.

Druid hill park is a huge park surrounding the lake reservoir. There is a zoo, pool, botanical gardens, conservatory, and sculptures. Lots of playgrounds, hiking and walking paths.

Druid Hill Park was established on the eve of the Civil War by Baltimore Mayor Thomas Swann on October 19, 1860. Much of the park started as part of "Auchentorlie," the estate of George Buchanan, one of the seven commissioners who founded Baltimore City in 1729.
