The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (SEP) is a freely available online philosophy resource published and maintained by Stanford University, encompassing both an online encyclopedia of philosophy and peer-reviewed original publication.
The SEP is the premier reference work in philosophy, covering an enormous range of topics through in-depth entries. It is maintained by a team of over two thousand philosophers and scholars, who identify, referee, and update the entries on a periodic basis.
