Aug 4, 2019 · Kim Zuñiga and Sandro Del Rosario are set to debut ANi (The Harvest), their first full-length film in the 15th run of the Cinemalaya Film Festival.
Directed by Kim Zuñiga and Sandro del Rosario, ANi follows a young Bikolano boy from 2050. To save his ailing grandfather, he goes on a quest to find magic grains with the help of a faulty warbot.
In defiance of this doom and gloom, young filmmakers Kim Zuñiga, Sandro Del Rosario, and Toni Zuñiga remain hopeful. They have a different vision of what the future may bring. They are the minds behind ANi (The Harvest) , a science fiction film in competition in this year’s Cinemalaya Film Festival.
Based on true events and will be shot entirely in Pandan, Antique, it narrates how the life of a young boy has changed when he was caught on a viral video brutally attacking a classmate. “ANi” by Kim Zuñiga and Sandro del Rosario follows an orphaned boy and his malfunctioning robot embark on a quest to save his grandfather’s life.
