Because his father was the town photographer and amateur filmmaker, Metrov acquired his first still camera at age 7, and his first super8mm movie camera at age 9.

Beginning his career in New York City in 1970, Metrov worked as a designer-illustrator for world renowned Push Pin Studios, the only graphic design studio to ever exhibit in the Paris Louvre. Founded in 1997, Mediashox represents the culmination of a diverse creative experience ranging from fine art in Rome, Italy, to motion pictures in Hollywood.
