Donny and Marie: Created by Marty Krofft, Sid Krofft. With Donny Osmond, Marie Osmond, Paul Lynde, Ruth Buzzi. Variety show featuring brother-sister singing duo Donny and Marie Osmond. Initially included entire Osmond family but later focused on Donny and Marie due to their popularity.
He further gained fame due to the success of the 1976–1979 variety series Donny & Marie, which Osmond hosted with his sister Marie Osmond. The Donny & Marie duo also released a series of top ten hits and gold albums, and hosted a syndicated and Daytime Emmy Award –nominated 1998–2000 talk show .
Donny and Marie's guests are Lucille Ball, Paul Williams, Paul Lynde, and Ray Bolger. Sketches include parodies of "60 Minutes" and "The Wizard of Oz." Lucille Ball sings "There's No Business Like Show Business," Paul Williams sings "Waking Up Alone" and Marie and Bolger do a song and dance medley.
