Konstantinos Kontovrakis. Greece. Biography. After working as a film critic and festival programmer, Konstantinos moved to production and set up Heretic in 2013 with Giorgos Karnavas. Since then, he has worked as a producer/coproducer in more than 25 acclaimed films, the Palme d’Or-winning Triangle of Sadness.
Konstantinos Kontovrakis is founder and partner of Athens based production company Heretic. His credits include some of the most awarded Greek films, such as “Wasted Youth” (2011), “Boy Eating the Bird’s Food” (2012), “Standing Aside, Watching” (2013), “Forever” (2014), and of the last years “Son of Sofia”(2017)
Giorgos Karnavas and Konstantinos Kontovrakis founded Heretic in 2013. Heretic started as a production base and quickly expanded by establishing the first of its kind world sales department for Southeastern Europe.
