Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration. The four year J.D./M.B.A. program requires completion of 119.5 academic credits (76 credits of Law Center courses and 43.5 credits of M.B.A. work; 9 credits of MBA work count toward the JD degree requirements).
While we will continue to accept and review applications throughout the spring and summer, the first-year JD preferred application deadline is March 1, 2024. The Admissions Committee encourages anyone who is considering applying to do so by this date, if possible.

Georgetown Law’s full-time J.D. program is six semesters (three academic years) with most classes held between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. During the upper-class years, full-time students may also register for courses that meet in the evenings and on weekends.
The J.D./Government program awards the Juris Doctor and a Doctorate in Government (with an M.A. en passant). The program allows students to specialize in American Government, International Relations, Comparative Government, or Political Theory.
J.D./Philosophy students must satisfactorily complete the graduation requirements for both the J.D. degree and the M.A. or Ph.D. in Philosophy degree. Separate diplomas will be awarded, and upon satisfactory completion of the program, a Joint Degree Certificate will be awarded as well.
