Synopsis. The Curleys are a poor, eccentric, and loving Irish family. Oldest daughter Sharon announces she is pregnant and refuses to reveal the identity of the father. Her father, Dessie, begins to chafe at the derisive gossip aimed at his daughter, leading to a confrontation between the two.
