6 days ago · The Lucy–Desi Comedy Hour is a collection of thirteen black-and-white one-hour specials airing occasionally from 1957 to 1960 (as opposed to the thirty-minute regular series, I Love Lucy ). The first five were shown as specials during the 1957–58 television season. The remaining eight were originally shown as part of Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse.

Jul 5, 2024 · Lucy Pearman was the highlight of the night for me. She was portraying the moon and had several audience members take various props which turned out to be for a surprise participatory thing at the end that was just terrific.
Jul 17, 2024 · This all set things up nicely for Lucy Pearman with a moon-themed WIP and I loved it. I hadn't seen her live before, but it sounds like it has similar construction elements to her other live stuff I've read about: daft outfits, beautifully silly props, inclusive audience participation, surrealism, lots of visual jokes.
