Jan 3, 2021 · The keyboard won't shut off unless I hit the off switch now. I tested it for 30 minutes just now and the lights are still on. Inside the lighting effect menu for the G915 where you can choose freestyle and other effect assignments theres also this gear wheel bottom left..took me a while to find it.

Hi u/mvorbrodt, Kindly be informed that the MX mechanical comes with proximity and ambient sensor which willl glow as soon as motion is being detected near the keyboard and depending upon the environmental lightings .It is not possible to keep the backlight on always as of now. I was messing around with the key colors by pressing the FN key + numbers from 1 to 9 on the keyboard, it seems like most of them have a preset saved that light up only a bunch of keys while the remaining stay unlit.

Jan 21, 2020 · Combine them in a template binary sensor (with a delay_off) and use that in your automations. Hopefully it will pick up motion from one of the sensors and not turn off your lights. Here is an example from my system. If there's either motion, the TV is on, or the Google Home is playing, the binary will be on.
Also, how to switch the default of the Fn keys to do the media (volume, brightness) instead of the actual Fn (I know you can hit the Fn key, but I mean how to switch the default so I just hit F9 to increase volume, not Fn + F9). FN button functions cannot be changed. Try the aorus color app in the microsoft store.
Dec 8, 2020 · Thank you! That worked. But that is not what my manual says it is supposed to do. The Manual says FN+PgUp Color Changes for each strike as this sequence: Red-blue-green-, green- red- blue, blue- green-red.
