Jun 11, 2024 · Halona Blowhole is really cool. Located on the far outskirts of Honolulu, it takes around 20 minutes to drive or approximately 2 hours by public transport. The blowhole is worth the journey, though, as it shoots water up to 30 feet into the air.

5 days ago · On July 24, 1969 Robert Barry Lee, 26, of Portlock was swept into the hole by the force of a wave as he was trying to warn a young woman about getting too close to the opening. Lee called for help while inside the hole, but was swept to sea and died.
