陈凯歌，1952年8月12日出生于中国北京市 西城区，祖籍 福建 长乐 [93]，毕业于 北京电影学院，中国内地男导演、 监制 、 制片人 、演员。 1984年执导电影处女作《黄土地》，该片获得 第38届洛迦诺国际电影节 银豹奖。 1987年凭借剧情片《孩子王》获得 第8届中国电影金鸡奖 导演特别奖。 1993年，执导的文艺片《霸王别姬》成为首部获得 戛纳国际电影节 金棕榈奖 的中国电影。 1998年执导历史片《荆轲刺秦王》 [1]。 2002年凭借剧情片《和你在一起》获得 第22届中国电影金鸡奖 最佳导演。 2002年凭借剧情片《和你在一起》获得 第50届圣塞巴斯蒂安国际电影节 最佳导演银贝壳奖 [72]。 2005年，执导的史诗片《无极》提名 第63届美国电影电视金球奖 最佳外语片。
