Capistrano Beach or Capo Beach, is a coastal neighborhood in the city of Dana Point in Orange County, California. It is bordered by San Clemente to the south and Doheny State Beach to the north. Capistrano Beach is situated along the coast on the southern end of Dana Point.
This beach has restroom facilities, a boardwalk, basketball court, a parking lot, and a broad expanse of beach. We discovered it while on a long walk from Dana Point to San Clemente (on the Coast Highway Protected Trail). We spent some time there, taking in the special water views.
