In 1997, Sorbo suffered three strokes due to an aneurysm. Shortly after visiting the chiropractor, he was hit with the strokes, which nearly ended his life.
I find that Young Hercules (Ian Bohen) is a more effective character when Kevin Sorbo is present in framing sequences. The impetuous and slightly naive version of Hercules is more meaningful when contrasted with the older Hercules reflecting back on his past.
