Predating Idiocracy, it’s 1979’s vision of 1998 Southern California, where President Chet Roosevelt (John Ritter) hatches a plan from the Western White House (a condo in Marina del Rey) with a telethon hosted by Harvey Korman.

But I was taken to go see Moonraker. I did have the old, original Alien action figure though. I think I had it before I even saw the movie lol.
