Apr 23, 2018 · I am using Google Drive on my PC and unknowingly was backing up all of my files to the Google cloud. This consumed all of the space in the cloud and therefore could not back up any additional files to the cloud. The red "x"'s indicated the new files which were not being backed up.

To help resolve these problems, read OneDrive is stuck on “Processing changes". If you're seeing the sync pending icon in File Explorer, read OneDrive is stuck on "Sync pending".

Whether I’m online or off, the file is present and taking up space on the machine. test-example 2.docx is also on my PC. This file was at one point an on-demand file but was downloaded because I opened it. Once again, whether I’m online or off, the file is present and taking up space on the machine. test-example 3.docx is an on-demand file.
Sparse files are similar to compressed files, but a bit more specific. With sparse files, long ranges of null (value 0) bytes are simply not stored on disk. Hey Elix, The version on your PC is out of sync. To find out why, go to the right side of the taskbar, right-click (or press and hold) OneDrive iconand select View sync problems.
