DeMatha Catholic High School first opened its doors on September 9, 1946 with enrollment of 18 students. DeMatha was founded by the Order of the Most Holy Trinity. DeMatha welcomes students from all backgrounds and religions.
Visitors are welcomed by a concert from our Music Program, the Admissions Staff offer a general information session, Dr. McMahon presents "The Six Pillars of DeMatha," and families are given self-guided tours through campus where they learn more about DeMatha--academics, arts, music, athletics, service, co-curricular activities and plans for the future.
Students must complete an online application via the Admission Portal for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.A $50 fee is required. In addition, to be reviewed for admission, a student must register for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) and must select DeMatha as one of the three allowed high schools.

We offer merit scholarships for Academics, Art, Drama, and Music, as well as need-based tuition assistance. Starting for the 24-25 school year, DeMatha will provide all textbooks to our students.
