Nunal sa Tubig / A Speck in the Water offers a rudimentary portrait into a rural Filipino fishing community facing strange occurrences left and right. As one of Ishmael Bernal's earlier works, it comes out as more raw and unpolished as it offers an interesting first half that fails to fully materialize on the strangeness of it by the second half.
