However, since the Crystal Gems were intimidated when they heard an Aquamarine sprecifically had been sent to Earth, it's likely that Aquamarine's have some special power that we haven't seen yet. This will likely continue the trend of blue gems being massively super-powered, i.e. Lapis can-drain-an-entire-ocean-in-one-night Lazuli, and Fortuneteller Sapphire.

Mar 18, 2018 · Theory: Aquamarine's Role on Homeworld. Sky 03/18/18. Every gem in Steven Universe has their purpose on Homeworld, with the exception of cross-gem fusions such as Garnet. With the large amount of new gems introduced in 2017, not many roles have properly been explained or explored. The most interesting of the bunch to me is Aquamarine.

Water wings/slight water manipulation(Can carry about as much water as her physical form at once), bow that can turn into a wand, it’s attached to her gem so that she doesn’t loose it after poofing (Gave up the wand after the two year time skip) Her gem weapon is a squirt gun.
Aquamarines seem to be higher rank, so I can assume they're favored and given stuff. When the CG's find out from Steven that an Aquamarine and two Topaz' are on Earth, they immediately know that they've been sent personally by the Diamonds.
