Yinyin Xue joins the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures as Assistant Professor of Chinese Studies. Dr. Xue received a Ph.D. in Chinese Literature and Culture from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019. She joins Rhodes College after teaching as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chinese at Kenyon College.

Gregory Vieira is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics. He is interested in all sorts of things about magnets. In his lab, he and his research students study how microscopic magnets interact with each other and how tiny magnetic particles can be captured, pushed, and transported in controlled ways.
