Aug 21, 2015 · Sinister was different horror experience for me. It had well written story, quality actors and a genuinely creepy atmosphere. Main problem with Sinister 2 was that story didn't have that suspense which made original different. Story was very simple. Also, the actors could have perform better.

Finally saw Sinister 2 (spoilers) Discussion. To start, I loved Sinister. Easily one of the best mainstream horror flicks to come out in the last decade IMO. I'm also not a huge fan of sequels. So when I first heard about Sinister 2 I was more than reluctant to see it. And then it got completely shredded by critics and audiences alike.
