University of Rhode Island is a public institution that was founded in 1892. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 13,927 (fall 2022), its setting is rural, and the campus size is 1,245 acres.
Persons holding baccalaureate degrees from accredited institutions may apply to Rhode Island College for a second undergraduate degree. This assumes completion of all previous baccalaureate requirements, including General Education and a 2.0 cumulative GPA (higher for some programs). Rhode Island College is a member of The Common Application group.
