Since March 23, 1986, the 6th Division was reactivated as a Light Infantry Division as a part of the Rapid Deployment Force under President Reagan’s Administration and is now stationed at Ft. Richardson, Alaska. In 1989 the Division took part in a joint US-Japan training exercise in the “Orient Shield 89” Maneuvers.
6th and Cedar is my go-to spot for coffee, breakfast and evening cocktails. They are the only spot in Wallace (I know of anyway) to offer white coffee. Their punch card frequent visitor card keeps me coming back for more. The cinnamon roll latte with white coffee or the maple spice chai are my favorites.
