In 1937, the Philippine Army General Hospital (PAGH) was established in Camp Murphy, now the site of Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo Station Hospital with COL ELSIO BRINGAS MC as the Commanding Officer. It initially started with 60 bed capacity and later expanded to 250 to accommodate increasing number of medical cases among military personnel.
