Suspiria 2018 má silný autorský rukopis, v detailoch je skvelá, casting je bravúrny (s výnimkou alternatívnej mužskej role pre Tildu Swinton), no do poslednej minúty svojej ubíjajúcej dva a polhodinovej minutáže (plnej neotitulkovaných nemeckých dialógov) Guadagnino nedokáže prekročiť tieň festivalovej artovej onanie smerom ku skutočne ponurému slow-burn hororu.
