Aug 15, 2024 · Originally under the banner of DreamWorks Pictures, it was spun-off into a separate public company on October 27, 2004. Starting with Over the Hedge, their movies were distributed through Paramount Pictures, who acquired the rest of DreamWorks SKG in February 2006.
