Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland [2] (born 21 December 1966) [3] is a Canadian actor and musician. He is best known for his starring role as Jack Bauer [4] in the Fox drama series 24 (2001–2010, 2014), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award .
