Brenton James Pry (born April 1, 1970) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the head coach at Virginia Tech. He previously served as the defensive coordinator at Penn State from 2016 to 2021.
Brent Pry is in his third season as head coach at Virginia Tech. He joined the Hokies after serving eight seasons as defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at Penn State. The Hokies reached some significant milestones during the 2023 season under Pry including a 5-3 ACC record, the best conference record since 2019.
