Feb 15, 2024 · Among the featured artists in the group show entitled, ‘Familiar Echoes’, presented by Qube Gallery is 40 year old Cebuana artist Golda King. My inspiration is actually my parents.
Golda King (The Philippines) Residence: November 2019. Born in Cebu in 1983, Golda King earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting in 2013 at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.
Golda King has us smitten, not just with her art but with her cerebral yet intuitive approach to it. The 33-year old artist had her first solo show at Qube Gallery earlier this year. The practically sold-out show, “En Route,” “was about figuring out where I belong,” she says.

Oct 12, 2016 · A self-professed late bloomer with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Golda King recalls balking at her art lessons as a six-year-old. “I was 30 when I received my BFA in Painting,” she says. “I can say that art is something I grew up with—I was just never sure that it was okay to be an artist.”
