Oct 14, 2020 · Asia Brewery first announced plans to brew Heineken in the country in 2017, one year after announcing the initial partnership with the Dutch beer company. Tan’s brewery said it was part of plans to reach the more premium segment of the beer market in the country.
In a declaration to the Philippine Stock Exchange last Wednesday (14th October) Asia Brewery and Heineken announced they would move from their current joint venture to a “new partnership structure” which would involve Heineken establishing its own sales and marketing office based in Manila.
