La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP; Filipino: Pamantasang La Consolacion sa Pilipinas) is a private Catholic co-educational basic and higher education institution administered by the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation (ASOLC) in Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines.
The La Consolacion University Philippines, through its formal curricular as well as nonformal programs, aims toward the wholistic development of the individual inspired by the teachings of St. Augustine, the life of Our Lady of Consolation rooted in Gospel values.
History. La Consolacion College Manila was founded in 1902 when Msgr. Placido Chapelle, the Papal Nuncio, offered the first ten Filipino Augustinian Sisters a house at R. Hidalgo St., Quiapo near the Basilica of San Sebastian.
December 1-9, 2023. On top of commemorating its 86th Founding Anniversary, this year was even more special as the institution celebrated its 25 Silver Years as a University. As an annual tradition, a week-long full of activities honoring this dual milestone was launched from December 1 to 9, 2023.
