May 15, 2013 · Anyway, “The Shallow End” is framed by a flashback in which George refuses to be mean to a girl named Beth-Ann at a local public pool when she was younger. Coming off of “Ghost Story,” which showed us how George is coming to terms with always being an outsider, I really appreciated how this episode felt in terms of continuity.

Synopsis. Mason has to take the soul of a old exhibitionist who wants to go to his own funeral. George gets a promotion and lets it go to her head: she turns into a regular mini-Napoleon. Reggie gets her first girl crush on a sales girl at a teen store, but learns the truth of caveat emptor and what working on commission really means.
