  3. Texas A&M University–Central Texas (A&M–Central Texas or TAMUCT) is a public university in Killeen, Texas. It is one of the newest members of The Texas A&M University System. Founded in 1999 as a branch of Tarleton State University, it became an independent member of the Texas A&M University System in September 2009.

  4. A&M-Central Texas is an upper-level institution, fully aligned with regional community colleges and offering quality bachelor's and master's degrees with an emphasis on access and affordability.

  5. A&M-Central Texas is located on 672 acres of beautiful land at the intersection of State Highway 195 and State Highway 201 in Killeen. The land was transferred to The Texas A&M University System from the U.S. Army in the summer of 2009. The university’s service area includes Central Texas.

  6. The Texas A&M University-Central Texas Undergraduate Catalog and the Graduate and Professional School Catalog are published online each spring. The provisions for these editions are effective for the Fall 2024 academic year.

  7. Undergraduate students who meet the following general admission requirements at the time of application are assured admission to A&M-Central Texas: Minimum 2.0 cumulative transfer GPA on a 4.0 scale; Minimum 30 academic, college-level transferable semester hours.
