Mulanay is a first class suburban municipality located in Quezon province, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, Mulanay has a population of 53,123 people. The town is situated on the Bondoc Peninsula along Tayabas Bay. Mulanay has 28 barangays and was founded in 1745 when it was established as a municipality by the King of Spain.
