In addition to serving as CSO, Riccardo is the managing principal of HOK’s Chicago studio where he leads a team of architects, urban designers, landscape architects and interior designers in creating elegant design solutions to complex challenges.

The University Board of Trustees has approved HOK as architect for the proposed Center for Physical and Computational Sciences. HOK, a firm with 26 regional offices worldwide, including one in Chicago, has completed several major science and technology projects in recent years.

Nov 17, 2023 · Conceived as a boomerang-shaped extension of the current concourse, HOK has led the design of more than 300,000 square feet of new space in Terminal 5 at the O’Hare International Airport, allowing an array of lounges, gates, and shops to capture the energy of Chicago's everyday life.
