History. San Pedro College was founded in 1956 by the Dominican Sisters of the Trinity from Quebec, Canada. It began as a school of nursing of the San Pedro Hospital, the first Catholic hospital in Mindanao,which the religious sisters have been operating since their arrival in 1948.
The School Seal and Motto. The Seal is the official symbol of the college. There are two colors in the seal – White stands for purity that characterizes the spirit of serving in love, and the love that characterizes the spirit of service, and Blue is the symbol of loyalty to the Gospel of Christ.
