We took the public transportation to get to Pagsanjan, Laguna (roughly a 3-hour bus ride from Cubao with air-conditioned MH busline costing Php 380/pax one-way). Meeting time was at 10:00am at Pagsanjan Falls Lodge. Each boat to the falls could accommodate only 2-3 guests plus 2 boatmen. I hope my answer helps. Enjoy!

PAGSANJAN ROUTE. From Buendia, ride a bus bound to Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Fare is around PhP 140++, 2-hour ride. In Sta. Cruz, you can either take a jeepney (PhP 8.00) to Pagsanjan or a tricycle (around PhP 50++) to take you directly to The Tourism Office.

I visited Pagsanjan as a side trip from Tagaytay, taking about 2 hours in a combination of van to Calamba then Jeepny to Santa Cruz and Pagsanjan. Go to the tourist office for information on the best boat landings and official boatmen. You should pay Php1250 per person and tip about Php100 to the boatmen.
Boat at Cavinti Falls. Cavinti Falls is also known as Pagsanjan Falls. The descent to the waterfall from Pueblo El Salvador lasts 30 minutes. (Going down is easy, but it was so difficult climbing back up, which will take much longer.)
