Based on the novel of the same name written by Lee Sun-mi, it was aired on MBC 's Mondays and Tuesdays at the 21:55 ( KST ) from July 2 and August 28, 2007 consisting of 17 episodes.
The 1st shop of Coffee Prince was an old coffee shop in Hongdae area, that was remodeled for the filming. The eponymous cafe was reopened after filming concluded with the wall flowers painting by Han Yoo-joo and other props from the drama on display.
Synopsis. Eun Chan is a licensed taekwondo instructor who parts time as a delivery woman. One day, she comes across a delivery order that leads her to Han Gyeol, an heir to a conglomerate. Her boyish appearance deceives everyone into thinking that she's a strong man with a petite figure.
Han-gyeol ( Gong Yoo) is a smart young man who hates to be tied down to one career in his life. Abhorring the idea of joining the family business, he is ordered by his grandmother to manage a cafe.
